John W. Clymer, 66, a former resident of 1231 Sixteenth street SE, died in an Iowa City hospital early Tuesday after a long illness. Born in Bertram Sept. 1, 1881, he was employed as a cement finisher in Cedar Rapids for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Alice; two sons, Walter and Harley, and a daughter, Mrs. Edgar Foster, all of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Harry of Michigan, three sisters, Mrs. Betty Davidson of Minneapolis, Mrs. Oliver Baker of Lisbon, and Mrs. Joseph Nixon of Mt. Vernon, and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Beatty chapel at a time to be announced later. Friends may call at the chapel after noon Wednesday.
