Obituary of Henry Palmer.
Henry Palmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Palmer, was born at Maquoketa, Iowa, on the fourth of February, 1861. On April 11, 1883, he was united in marriage to Miss Eve Fisk at Oxford Junction, Iowa. To this union four daughters were born, the oldest of whom died in infancy. Mr. Palmer was a kind and loving husband and father and a respected citizen. He has lived in Marion for the past twenty-one years, seventeen of which was given to the printing business.
After a number of months of failing health he rested from the suffering of life Feb. 21, 1912, after a life of 51 years and 17 days. He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, three daughters, Minnie, Florence and Erna, and his aged mother, besides other relatives and friends.
The funeral services were held at the home Friday at 1:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. L.M. Starr of the Christian church.
