Marion relatives have been informed of the death of Mabel Alexander on Sunday, April 25, in Claremont, Calif.
Miss Alexander was the daughter of Thomas R. and Ellen Alexander, early settlers in Marion. She was born Dec. 10, 1880. She left Marion following her graduation from Coe.
Miss Alexander was a music and drama librarian at Detroit, Mich., and had retired to California about 2? years ago.
There are no survivors.
Burial was at Oak Shade cemetery.
