Saturday August 15, 1936 Cedar Rapids Gazette: Doris Havens Clark, wife of P.O. Clark, for three terms clerk of the Linn county district court, died Friday at 3 p.m. at their home at 138 Twenty-sixth street drive SE. She had been in poor health for the last year.
The daughter of Thomas and Olive Havens, Mrs. Clark was born Feb. 16, 1869, in Orange county, Mich.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Carleton Burch of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. B.L. Lee of Monmouth, Ill.; a brother, J.L. Havens of Aberdeen, Wash.; a half-sister, Mrs. Rose Owen of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Sabra Reed and Mrs. Adelaide Avery of Cedar Rapids, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Yocum chapel in Marion Sunday at 2 p.m. in charge of Dr. W.E. Fisher of the Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Mount Clark cemetery at Central City.
