Marjorie Jane Leach, age 92, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, December 18, 2020 at Northbrook Manor Care Center in Cedar Rapids. She was born August 9, 1928 in Postville, Iowa, the daughter of William and Anna (Baltz) Gentz. Marjorie graduated from Luana (IA) High School with the Class of 1945.

She worked at Collins Community Credit Union for 29 ½ years, retiring in 1993. Marjorie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hiawatha.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 7 siblings, Agnes Schulte, Mary Radloff, Bill Gentz, Hester McQuire, LuAnn George, Rita Doerring and an infant brother.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion with Reverend Daniel Krueger officiating. A livestream of the memorial service may be accessed on the funeral home website tribute page for Howard, under “photos and videos or media,” starting at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Inurnment will take place at Shiloh Cemetery in Hiawatha. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
