Jessie Walters Found Dead at Toledo Home
TOLEDO--Jessie Walters, 89, widow of the late J.P. Walters, an Eastern Iowa Light and Power Co. executive, was found dead in her house Friday afternoon by Toledo police.
The police were called to the house by a Toledo teenager, who worked for Mrs. Walters.
She said she arrived for work and found the door locked. Police arrived and entered the home, finding Mrs. Walters dead in her bed.
She is survived by a daughter Helen Walters of Chicago, and a granddaughter.
Services are pending at the Henderson funeral home in Toledo.
