CHARLES DUKEK DIES SUDDENLY
Chas. Dukek, brother of J.W. Dukek and Mr.s S.E. Miller of this city, who was here visiting over Thanksgiving and started home the first of the week, dropped dead of heart trouble Tuesday afternoon, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Joseph Stuckmeyer, near Albion, Iowa. He was on his way back to his home at Scotts Bluff, Nebr. and was apparently in his usual good health when he stopped to visit his sister at Albion.
He was born in Linn county, Nov. 30, 1859, the son of John and Christina Dukek and spent his early years here, and later moved to Nebraska where he prospered, and was the owner of several farms. He made his home with a sister, Mrs. Katherine Etzel.
Funeral services will be held Friday at the Yocom chapel, the service conducted by the Rev. Benerman of Alburnett, and burial will be in Oak Shade.
