Arthur Eugene Wicher, 75, a carpenter, died Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Marion following a long illness.
Born April 15, 1869, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wicher, he was married in 1907 at Sioux City to Effie Mae DeHart, who died in 1911. Surviving are two children, Ray Wicher, Sioux Falls, S.D. and Mrs. Elma Darr, Compton, Calif., and four grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Yocom chapel, Marion, by the Rev. Benjamin H. Shaw. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery.
