Lloyd U. Conner, 69, a former Cedar Rapids and Marion resident and a resident of Sidney for the last 12 years, died Monday morning in a Hamburg hospital. He was born May 1, 1901, at Troy. Mr. Conner was a retired baker.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ben Carns of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Mrs. Patrick Neal of Grand Marias, Minn.; two sons, William J. Conner of Lomax, Ill., and Raymond W. Conner of Davenport; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Heil Hemderson of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Wesley Walker of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Murdoch chapel in Marion conducted by the Rev. Jean P. Hauter. Burial: Oak Shade cemetery in Marion. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
