Allen Harris, 65, died in a local care center, Friday night following a brief illness.
Mr. Harris was born Dec. 20, 1913 at Fillmore, Calif. He has been a resident of Cedar Rapids and Marion for many years.
He is survived by a brother, John Harris of Carpinteria, Calif.; two sisters, Georgia A. Harty of San Pedro, Calif., and Mona B. Ramsey of Torrance, Calif.; one daughter, Beverly Solano, Ventura, Calif.
Services were held at the graveside in Oak Shade cemetery Thursday morning. Baxter Memorial chapel had charge of the arrangements.
