From the Cedar Rapids Evening Gazette Friday May 14, 1886:
Marion Locals:
We learn that yesterday afternoon, at the home of Levi Etzel who lives some seven miles north of Marion, was the ??? of another death. It seems that in some manner his little boy, who is about sixteen month old, fell into a rain barrel. He was soon discovered and resoned, but immediately went into spasms and convulsions. Everything was done that was possible for him, but apparently of no avail, for he died shortly after the doctor arrived.
