The third death during the present heated spell occurred at Cedar Rapids when Noble Smith, 40 years old, for twenty-one years in the employ of the Hubbard Ice company, died as a result of being overcome while delivering ice.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a grave shows he was born in 1873 and is buried in Murdoch-Linwood Cemetery
