Webster H. Raker (1906 - 1989)

Webster H. Raker, 83, of 79 East Clark St of Hiawatha, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday in his home after a sudden illness.

He was born Jan 4, 1906 at Cedar Rapids. Mr. Raker was a machinist for Cherry-Burrell for 42 years, retiring in 1968. He was a member of Eagles, First Baptist Church, Church of the Brethren and U.A.W. Local 1024.

Survivors include a son, Harry of Robins; two daughters, Karen Unash of Robins and Mary Davidsaver of Bishop Hill, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, by the Rev. Donald Alden of First Baptist Church-Church of the Brethren. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
