SPRINGVILLE--Owen A. McMahon, 64, farmer northeast of Springville, died early Tuesday, Nov. 27 at his home.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 29, at St. Joseph's Catholic church. Murdoch chapel, Marion, had charge of arrangements.

He was born April 3, 1898, at Manteno, Ill. He was married to Bernadette Rheault at Fargo, N.Dak., June 16, 1924.

McMahons lived in the Martelle and Springville vicinity all of their married life. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church, Stone City, and Knights of Columbus, lodge 909, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Patricia Ann, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Peterson, Mrs. Frank Flaherty, Irene McIntosh and Mrs. Joseph Powers, all of Cedar Rapids; and a brother, Joe McMahon, Cedar Rapids.
