CEDAR RAPIDS--Emma Mary Walker, 76, resident of Cedar Rapids for 11 years, died unexpectedly Monday, June 18. She was a former resident of Prairieburg.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception church. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery, Prairieburg. McNamara Funeral home, Anamosa, is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers included Lawrence Yanda, Lester Holub, Louis Holub, Earl Holub, Edward Holub and Edward Flaherty.

She made her home with her son, Lester Walker, 862 Cedar Point road, Cedar Rapids. She lived near Prairieburg most of her life. She was married Oct. 5, 1909, to Frank Walker who preceded her in death.

Survivors include four daughters, Agnes Holub, Center Point; Lillian McNamara, Davenport; Helen Biggart, Cedar Rapids, and Leona Shedek, Springville; three sons, Lester, Cedar Rapids, Elmer, Cedar Rapids and Gail, Glendale, Calif.

Others include four sisters, Lizzie Holub, Mary Lawrence, Anna Yanda and Sophia Flaherty, six brothers, Tom, Paul, Raymond, Henry and William Holub, all of Prairieburg; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
