Robert D. Price died of pneumonia Friday morning at his home, 526 Thirteenth street. He had been ill about two weeks. Mr. Price was born May 13, 1852, at Dehlanega, Ga., but came to Marion over 35 years ago. For many years he was employed in the bridge and building department of the C.M. & St. P. railway, but recently had worked on the farm of his son-in-law. He is survived by his wife and six children, Mrs. Ray Clark, Mrs. Jerry Lesher, George, Ray, Herbert and Francis, all of Marion, also one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Campbell, of Cedar Rapids, and a brother, Frank, of Ottumwa.
The funeral services were held from the home Sunday afternoon, with the Rev. W.L. Barth, of Cedar Rapids officiating. Interment was in Oak Shade cemetery.
