Mrs. Lawrence E. Sturgeon, 51, of 2431 Twenty-seventh street SW, resident of Cedar Rapids 24 years, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Born at Whitehall, Ill., Aug. 6, 1899, she was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
Surviving, besides her husband, are seven children, Edward and Deane Sturgeon and Rayond Warner of Cedar Rapids, Westley Warner of Clarence, and Frank Warner and Mrs. Viola Wake of Springfield, Ill.; her father, Albert Edson; a brother, William Edson, and three sisters, Mrs. Bessie DeCroix, Mrs. Uranus Conley and Mrs. Jennie Owens, all of Springfield.
Services will be conducted in the Church of the Brethren, Fourth avenue and Twelfth street SE, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery, Marion. Friends may call at the Beatty chapel until 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
