Eleanor Kaye Burrows, 76 of Cedar Rapids died Saturday June 6, 2020 at Cottage Grove Place. Per Eleanor’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband James; a son Brent (Kristi) of Orno, Minnesota; a daughter Danielle (Dustin) Kern of Marion; two granddaughters Kyler Burrows of Orno, and Dreya Kern of Marion; two grandsons Hagen Burrows of Orno, Minnesota and Davis Kern of Marion.

Kaye was born on March 8, 1944 in Oak Park, Illinois the daughter of Carl and Eleanor (Hufendick) Birkland. She graduated from Oak Park High School and continued her education at Stephens College Columbia, Missouri and Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.

Kaye married James A. Burrows on April 22, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a wonderful wife and mother. Kaye had many good friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
