PRAIRIEBURG--Funeral service for Richard Holub, 19, only son of Mrs. Grace Holub, Anamosa, was held Thursday at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Prairieburg.

Rev. S. J. Kucera officiated and burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery. McNamara Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

The youth died early Tuesday morning at the University hospital at Iowa City following a long illness. Complications resulting from an illness with pneumonia last fall resulted in his death.

His father, Wesley Holub, preceded him in death several years ago.

He was employed at the Grill café when he was taken ill and also worked for a period at the Reliance Manufacturing Co.
