VIOLA--Word was received in Viola Wednesday, Nov. 8, of the death of Mrs. Nellie Patterson who had left Viola, Oct. 21, with her husband, Durward Patterson, and daughter, Mrs. Edris Rinella, Iowa City, to spend the winter in Florida. They had stopped at Shreveport, La., and were spending a few days with their daughter, Miss Genevieve Patterson, superintendant of nurses in a veterans hospital thee, when Mrs. Patterson died. She had spent most of her life in the Viola community.
