PRAIRIEBURG--Funeral service for Raymond L. Holub, 37, who died early Wednesday morning at the McDonald hospital, Monticello, will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's church in Prairieburg.

Mr. Holub, prominent farmer near Prairieburg, had been ill for two weeks and underwent a major operation Monday.

Rev. S. J. Kucera will officiate at the funeral and burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. Pallbearers will include Emil Holub, Harry Holub, Leroy Holub, Robert Holub, Joseph Simmons and Vincent Simmons.

Mr. Holub was born Nov. 30, 1903, in Linn county, son of Frank L. and Annie L. Holub. He was married Oct. 6, 1927, and Mr. and Mrs. Holub have made their home on their present farm since that time.

McNamara Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his widow, his mother, three sons, Delbert Ray, 13, Arnold Emil, 9, and Gerald Joseph, 3; a brother, Joseph A. Holub, Monticello; two sisters, Mrs. Albert B. Holub, Coggon and Mrs. Joseph Simmons, Monticello.

Mr. Holub was a member of St. Joseph's church.
