Brought to Marion.
At Moline, Ill., Friday morning at 2:40 a.m., occured[sic] the death of Mrs. Getchell at the home of her son, P.R. Williams. The body was brought to Marion Saturday afternoon and was taken in charge by undertaker Pingrey who had it removed to the home of John Snyder, 111 Tenth street, from where it was taken to Oak Shade cemetery for burial by the side of one son and a daughter who have been interred here. The funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m.m Sunday afternoon, from the Snyder home and were conducted by Rev. S.R. Beatty of the Methodist church.
The deceased was formerly a resident of Marion for many years and married a Mr. Williams, who having died several years ago, then she was married to Mr. Getchell, who also has been dead several years, and for several years she has been making her home with her son at Moline, Ill.
P.R. Williams and wife of Moline, Ill., accompanied the remains of his mother Saturday afternoon to this city for burial. The[sic] returned home Monday.
