Death of Mrs. Wm. Armstrong
Mrs. William Armstrong, aged 50 eyars, died at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, Tuesday at 2:30 a.m. She was born in Ireland and came to this country at the age of twenty-four, marrying William Armstrong June 6, 1896, and residing in Marion ever since she came to this country. Her maiden name was Harriet Murry.
Mrs. Armstrong submitted to an operation in June, was brought home from the hospital five weeks later.
She is survived by her husband and two children, Reuben and Evelyn Armstrong, besides a sister Rebecca and three brothers, Isaac, Joe and Willie, the sister and brothers being in Ireland. One brother and sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held in the home, 441 Fourth street today at 2:30 p.m., and will be conducted by the Rev. Harry Glenn Finney. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery.
