Inez Mae Pratt, 56, of Westwood drive NW, wife of Herbert W. Pratt, died at 1:05 a.m. Friday in a Cedar Rapids hospital after a brief illness. Born at Clarence, she lived in Cedar Rapids 37 years and was affiliated with Edgewood Community church.
She was married at Marion Oct. 16, 1919. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Bernard Aupperle, Mrs. Philip Danielson, Mrs. Wesley Gatewood and Betty Pratt, all of Cedar Rapids; a son, Marvin H. Pratt, of Johnson county, Tenn.; four brothers, Oscar and Elmer Kent of Lewiston, Mont., Raymond of Marion, and Marshall, of Minneapolis, and two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Golden of Marion and Mrs. Walter Leinbaugh of Clarence.
Services will be conducted in the Barta-Hesser chapel at 1:30 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Chester Ainsworth of Edgewood Community church. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 4 p.m. Sunday.
