COOK, WEARE, CARROLL

Mrs. Cook, widow of Capt. Charles Cook died today at the home of Hon. Charles Weare, of bronchitis. She was one of the old settlers of this county, her father being one of the earliest settlers of Marion. Capt. Cook was prominently known here and his wife is known by all the old settlers. She was about sixty years of age and leaves one son, Henry, who is a journalist at Nevada. Her husband was a half-brother of I. W. Carroll of this city and Mrs. Chas. Weare. The time of the funeral will be mentioned hereafter.
