Another old settler passed away yesterday afternoon at about 4 o'clock, at which time Mrs. Mary Otterbein, wife of Phillip Otterbein, breathed her last. Mrs. Otterbein came to Cedar Rapids in 1854, living here ever since. She was a consistent member of the First Presbyterian Church and died a christian death. She was a great Bible student and had a wonderful retentive memory in committing and keeping scriptural texts. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn her loss.
