Edith M. Thompson, who left Cedar Rapids in 1931, died Wednesday at Tenafly, N.J. Born in West Branch Nov. 9, 1907, she was married to William G. Thompson in 1931.
Surviving are her husband; her mother, Lillian Michener, of Tenafly, and a brother, John E. Michener of Cincinati.
She was a member of the Tenafly Presbyterian church, Alpha Xi Delta sorority and Phi Sigma Iota honorary sorority.
Graveside services at Oak Shade, Marion, by the Rev. D.A. Loferski of St. John's Episcopal church, at a time to be announced. Hesser Memorial chapel in charge.
