Herbert E. Landeres, 48, of 700 1/2 First Ave., SW, died Wednesday in Mercy Hospital. The Linn County Medical Examiner ruled that Landers died of heart disease.
Born Aug. 28, 1938, at Captina, W.VA., he had been employed by Colony Heating and Air Conditioning Co. He served in the Army from 1958-61.
Survivors include four brother and six sisters [omitted for privacy]
