Wilson Mudgett, aged 87 years, died Monday morning after an illness of four days. The deceased had been a resident of Linn county for about two years. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home of his son, on West Seventh avenue, and were conducted by the Rev. F.M. Smith, pastor of the Baptist church. Interment was in Oak Shade cemetery.
