DANIEL ALSOP, PIONEER LINN RESIDENT, DIES
Daniel Alsop, pioneer Linn county resident, died at 4 p.m., Monday at his home in Louisa. Mr. Alsop was born May 16, 1841 in England. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Jesse Niswander of Cedar Rapids, and two sons George W. of Marion and S.P., of Kenwood Park. One sister, Mrs. Samuel Reimer of Marion, also survive.
Funeral services will be held in the Shiloh church at a time to be announced later.
