John W. Clymer, 39, of 1280 35th St. NE, was pronounced dead Monday afternoon in St. Luke's Hospital. Services: 9 a.m. Friday, Turner Chapel East, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.

Born Sept. 5, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, to Harley and Alma Trpkosh Clymer, Sr., he married [private]Nowadzky here April 3, 1971. Mr. Clymer was employed by Highway Equipment Co. for 17 years and had been active in Kennedy H.S. wrestling and football clubs and Kennedy Booster Club.
The Rev. Nick Longworth will officiate. A memorial fund has been established.
