Death of Mrs. Arion Allen.
Mrs. Arion Allen, 72 years of age, died Saturday at her home in Chicago. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. today in the Pingrey chapel. The Rev. A.H. Hanscom was in charge and burial was in Oak Shade.
Mrs. Allen was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Allen, old residents who lived a mile south of Marion. She was married to Henry Allen and occupied the old homestead until her husband's death. She then moved to Chicago where her daughter Grace is in the employe of a newspaper. She was a former primary teacher both in the public schools and the Sunday school, and a refined and cultured woman.
