Obituary of David Reyerson[sic].
David Reyerson was born in Michigan, August 3, 1868, and died in Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a brief illness, aged 44 years and fourteen days. He came with his parents to Marion, Iowa, about twenty-two years ago and was engaged in the work of painting most of the time. He was of kind disposition, was the sole support of his aged mother, and had a great many friends in the community. He was one of a family of nine children, six of whom, with his mother, survive him--Mrs. Lily Reise of Lee county, Illinois; Mrs. Rose Pike of Spear Fish, S.D.; Mrs. Carrie Freshman of Salem, Ore.; Cash Reyerson, Lee county, Illinois; Oscar Reyerson and Mrs. Thos. Mullin of Marion. The funeral services were conducted by Re. S.R. Beatty at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Mullin on Tuesday afternoon, August 20, and the interment was in Oak Shade cemetery.
