Funeral of Miss Bell
Burial services for Miss Edna H. Bell were held yesterday at Oak Shade cemetery in Marion, following a service in charge of the Eastern Star order in the Yocom funeral parlors there with Rev. A.W. Henke of Washington offering prayer. Services were held here at 4:30 Sunday afternoon at the L.A. Jones funeral home and at 8:30 yesterday morning at the Bell home for the benefit of Mrs. Bell, who was unable to attend the other services. Here Mr. Henke offered prayer and Jesse Miller of Ottumwa sang. The pall bearers included Carl Jungbluth, Will Carson, T.L. Brookhart and J.W. Enslin. The first two named also acted as bearers at Marion, with four men who were old friends of the Bell family there.
