Services Sunday for Mrs. Susie Young, 62
Mrs. Susie C. Young, 62, widow of Acie C. Young, died Thursday after a long illness.
Born April 23, 1883, at Bagley, Ia., she was married there June 12, 1901. The Youngs moved to Marion 16 years ago from Anamosa. Mr. Young died Nov. 19, 1942. Mrs. Young was a member of the Marion Methodist church, and of the women's society of the church.
Surviving are two sons, Clifford, Anamosa, and Harold A. Young, Cedar Rapids; six daughters, Mrs. Ethel Kidwell, Mrs. Bonnie Meade and Mrs. Ruby Aldrich, Monticello; Mrs. Lillian Karal, Fairfax, Mrs. Eva Burns and Mrs. Dorothy Price, Marion; a brother, Chester Cramer, Des Moines; and 26 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Yocom chapel. The Rev. James P. Gable will officiate, and burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
