Death notice from the Cedar Rapids Evening Gazette on Saturday December 20, 1919, page 2:
Louis S. Proksa Dead.
Louis S. Proksa, died at his home, 1010 South Fifth street at 6:30 p.m. yesterday. He was 38 years old and is survived by his wife, two small children, his aged mother and one brother, Joseph Proksa. Funeral services will be held at the home Monday at 8:30 followed by services at the St. Wenceslaus church at 9 a.m., both being conducted by the Rev. Florian Svrdilk. Mr. Proksa was a member of Katolicky Delnik No. 45.
