FUNERAL SERVICES OF MRS. MATILDA WILSON
Shellsburg, Aug. 6 --Funeral services for Mrs. Matilda Wilson were held Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Spencer Parker. Dr. Miller of Cedar Rapids officiated and interment was in Lafayette cemetery, near Center Point.
The deceased was born in Cambria county, Pennsylvania, May 11, 1837, and came to Iowa in 1859. Her father, Elder Jacob Walters, established the Dry Creek Brethren church at Robins, Iowa. The surviving children are Mrs. Sadie Hagerman of Dike, Iowa, Charles Wilson of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Ophelia Stewart of Center Point, Mrs. Spencer Parker and Frank Wilson of Shellsburg.
