Myrtle E. Duncan, 74, a resident of Center Point the last 27 years and a former resident of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday in a Center Point care center following a long illness.
Born Nov. 12, 1904, at Mount Vernon, she was married to H. Ralph Duncan on June 22, 1924, at Mount Vernon. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Johnson of Omaha, Mrs. Paul Croy, Cedar Rapids, and Joyce E. Haars, Carter Lake; two sons, Dale R. of Center Point and Roy W. of Columbia, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Merle and Earl Caraway, both of Cedar Rapids.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Center Point United Methodist Church by the Revs. Sheridan and Charlotte Mallott. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park. Friends may call at Murdoch Chapel, Center Point, after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
