MRS. J.L. DRURY DEAD.
Prominent Church Woman Died Last Evening After Long Illness.
Yesterday evening at 7 o'clock Mrs. J.L. Drury passed into rest after a severe illness of three months.
Mrs. Drury, whose maiden name was Ella M. Horn, was born at Pleasant Hill, Cedar county, Iowa, on March 2, 1858. While she was still a child her parents removed to Wester, Linn county, where she was educated, graduated from the college at that place in 1883. In December of the same years she was married to J.L. Drury and in 1891 came with him to Cedar Rapids.
Mrs. Drury was an active member of the United Brethren church, of which she became a member in her seventeenth year.
She is survived by her husband, one son, her parents, three brothers and one sister.
The funeral will occur on Sabbath afternoon from the family home, No. 206 Fifth avenue, Rev. W.G. Beatty officiating, assisted by Rev. Brooke.
