Frank Koblasse, 1027 Eighth street NW, Cedar Rapids resident most of his life and an employe of the Haegg Construction Company, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital early Thursday after a brief illness. Born at Solon March 9, 1871, he was a member of Modern Woodmen.
Surviving are his wife, Mamie Horne Koblasse, to whom he was married in Spillville Oct. 29, 1906; three daughters, Mrs. Fred Nathan, Mrs. Charles Waterbury and Miss Carrie Koblasse; a son, Wencil, all of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Joseph, of Iowa City, and three grandchildren.
Services will be conducted in the Teahen chapel Saturday at a time to be announced later. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 1 p.m. Friday.
