DIED. -- In Marion Iowa, May 17th 1868 of Consumption, Adaline Jennison. She was born in Lancaster, Pa. Dec. 26 1822, Married to Rev. G.H. Jennison, Jan. 16, 1845. Her many friends sympathize with her bereaved family in their loss of a Christian Wife and Mother, and yet their loss is her gain, for "precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Sister Jennison's faith in God, and her humble and patient christian life, full of devotion to the interests of Christ and his cause, as evidenced during her health when having the trials of an itinerant life in the ministry of her husband, and her willingness to suffer without murmuring, and her triumph in grace--all testify to the fact of her perfect life with God.
May the God of all grace comfort the family, and lead them to that home of pure joy where "we died no more, but are equal with the angels."
