The Cedar Rapids Evening Gazette Saturday April 10, 1897
At 7 o'clock last evening occurred the death of Mrs. Jacob Kimm at the family home about seven miles west of the city. She was a sufferer during a great deal of the last seven years of her life, but death last evening was the result of an illness of four weeks. The deceased leaves a husband and nine children, all of whom live near the city with the exception of two in Washington. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon; interment at Cisley's[sic] Grove.
