Miss Mary Hines, formerly a well known Marion girl, but who has resided in Des Moines for several years, died, of consumption, in that city, one day last week, and was buried in the cemetery here. She was the youngest sister of Mr. John Hines who lives at the corner of 7th street and 8th avenue. The deceased was a handsome and lovable young lady who merited and enjoyed the confidence and esteem of all who knew her. Two brothers and a sister reside in Des Moines and one sister in Cedar Rapids. They have the sympathy of a large circle of Marion friends.
