OBITUARY.
Died, at her home in Marion, Iowa, Mrs. Pheoba J. Gunn, May 31st, 1895.
Her maiden name was Phoeba J. Hastings, born in Iowa, 1850. She was married to John A. Gunn of this city, 1872. She lived for many years in the home of Rev. A.S. Marshall, and for many years was a member of the Presbyterian church, but after her marriage united with the Christian church. She leaves a father, husband and six children, to mourn her departure. She died suddenly of apoplexy, surrounded by her family. The funeral services were held in the Christian church, on June 1st, conducted by Rev. J.W> Geiger, assisted by Rev. A.S. Marshall. Sister Gunn was a faithful and devoted member of the church,w as always in her place, on Lordsday and Midweek services. She has left her family a life rich in faith and good works.

Hidden dangers, snares unknown.
Oh, may He who, meek and lowly,
Trod Himself this vale of woe,
Make us His, and make us holy,
Guard and guide us while we go."
