William Jay Worth, 86, of 2698 Third Ave., Marion, died Tuesday at the American Care Center in Cedar Rapids following a short illness.
Born Feb. 25, 1895, at Bryan, Ohio, he served with the Army during World War I and was affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Ernest of Ripley, N.Y.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Baxter Memorial Chapel, Marion, by the Rev. Nick Longworth. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday. The casket will not be opened after the service.
