Mrs. G.L. Applegate died at the home of her son yesterday morning just before 10 o'clock, after an illness of one week less than a year with paralysis. Other complications set in on Thursday, the end coming peacefully and unexpectedly. Besides her husband, Elder G.L. Applegate, one of the pioneer ministers of the Christian church, one son, W.H. Applegate of this city, and a daughter, Mrs. F.S. Murray of 721 Sixth avenue, Cedar Rapids; a sister residing in Ohio and a brother in Pennsylvania, are left of her immediate family to mourn her loss. The funeral will be held from the Christian church at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Elder J.G. Encell.
