Susan V. Meroshek, 75, of 2115 Third Ave., Marion, died Tuesday evening in Mercy Medical Center after a sudden illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Marion. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; a son and five daughters [private]; a sister, Pat Luse of Marion.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John and a sister, Lula Cutright.
Born the daughter of Fred and Mildred Hazlett Welter on Sept. 15, 1916, in Marion, she married Charles M. Meroshek there on July 19, 1935. Sue was employed by Crestview Acres Nursing Home for 12 years. Sue was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Women's Relief Corp No. 126, serving as treasurer for over 40 years.
The Rev. Marvin Salz will officiate.
