F.R. WINSOR
was a wagon and carriage maker by trade. He was born in England, April 7, 1832. In 1852 he went to Texas and in 1853 to California, and came to Marion in 1855, where he resided up to the time of his death, May 8, 1893. He was an active, energetic and enterprising citizen. He was married to Elmira Hewitt Nov. 4, 1864, who with five children survive him.
