Funeral services for Harry Edward Dorcas, 55, a lifelong resident of the rural Lisbon area, were held at Lisbon, May 1. Mr. Dorcas died at his home in the White Oak Community near Lisbon, April 28.

The son of Harry L. and Cora May Andre Dorcas, he was born April 4, 1916 and was married to Lillian Marie Schlemmer of Anamosa at Vinton Feb. 14, 1940.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) McCalmant, Wyoming and Mrs. David (Donna) Herrmann, Cedar Rapids; 2 grandsons, David and Andrew Herrmann, Cedar Rapids; 3 sisters, Mrs. Carl (Laverna) Sieyska, Center Junction; Mrs. Luella Connor, Lisbon and Mrs. James (Lorena) Gray, Mechanicsville and a number of nieces and nephews.
