Ralph Kirkpatrick, Mt. Vernon Pioneer, Dead at Age of 80

Ralph Kirkpatrick, 80, a Mount Vernon pioneer resident, died Wednesday at the home of his son, Frank, in Cedar Rapids. He came to a farm near Mt. Vernon from Ohio, in 1856, married there, and in 1902 moved to Mt. Vernon, where he conducted a milling and feed business.
